Steps to Apply

  1. Choose Your Admission Program: There is a separate application for each of our programs: Undergraduate, graduate, certificates and open enrollment. Be sure to select the correct option.

  2. Create an Account: The first time you visit, you’ll need to create an admissions account.

  3. Start Your Application: Check your application for the materials you will need. Make sure you have everything you need to complete your application.

  4. Apply and Submit: Fill out the required fields, review your application carefully, pay the application fee and submit.

Admission Deadlines

  • Golden Gate University accepts applications year-round.
  • You may apply for admission up to one calendar year before your intended enrollment term.
  • You may begin your courses in the Fall, Spring or Summer term.
  • To start at a certain school term, you must complete your application and submit all documents before that term's priority deadline. The priority deadline is 15 business days before the start of each term. If you do not complete the process by the priority deadline, you may have your registration for courses delayed.
  • All admissions decisions are communicated within five business days after GGU has received all required documentation listed in the application.
  • Applications requiring an academic department review may take 10 or more business days to review and administer admissions decisions.
